A: The website migration service provided by Val-Expert Ltd. is completely free of charge and involves moving all your website files, databases and e–mails from your current hosting provider to your brand new web hosting account with us. We will also update all the configuration settings necessary for your web sites to be fully functional on our ultramodern cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of transferring any type of website. With years of practical experience behind their backs, they’re experts in the inner workings of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other famous Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–made web app with lots of custom libraries is as elementary as moving a simple WordPress blog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, since there are many variables, including the size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our very best to migrate your site within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (if the content is not large).

A: Yes. We will require the name of the site that you would like us to move. We will also need a way to log into your present hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your website.

A: Before we can begin the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share the exact same information you have given to your previous hosting provider. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is dealt with.

A: Nah. Your site will stay available online during the migration. Once everything is completed on our end, we’ll inform you so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything’s OK, all you will have to do is change your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: Nope. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we won’t need anything. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We can transfer your site from any hosting provider or any Linux–driven web hosting platform so long as we can access the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only sites that we are unable to migrate are those based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
